Lucy Davidson is an Australian Stop-Motion Animation Director.  In 2022 she worked on Adam Elliot’s latest feature film MEMOIR OF A SNAIL (Annecy Crystal Award Winner 2024). Following this success, she was selected by Aardman Animation Studios Academy, to direct her upcoming short film BAGGAGE .

• ART DEPARTMENT - Sculpting and painting props in Adam’s “chunky wonky” style.

•  SET DRESSER  - Prepared puppets, props and sets in the animation units. Worked across 9 animation stages, bumping in and out over 80 unique sets.

• ASSISTANT ANIMATOR  - Mentored by animation supervisor John Lewis (KIRI & LOU). Animated VFX shots,puppets & vehicles. Assistant to senior animators on complex shots.

• STILLS PHOTOGRAPHER - Documented the Art department and Animation stages throughout production.
